Scottish Cycling hereby gives notice that the 2020 Scottish Cyclists’ Union Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 28 November 2020.
More information will follow shortly.
Please find below key dates and milestones for this year’s AGM.
1. Propositions for the 2020 Agenda
If your club or association would like to propose anything to be included in the 2020 Agenda this should reach Scottish Cycling no later than 3 October 2020. Propositions may include changes to the Memorandum, Articles of Association and Byelaws. All propositions must have been approved by two officials in your club or association and be submitted on the Proposition Form.
2. Nominations for Board of Directors
Scottish Cycling currently has ONE position for election or re-election to the Board of Directors. Nominations for these positions should be submitted by 31 October 2020.
3. Agenda Papers
Preliminary Agenda papers will be circulated by 17 October 2020. Once received, any amendments to the preliminary Agenda must reach Scottish Cycling by no later than 31 October 2020 and final Agenda papers will be issued by 7 November 2020.
4. Club/ Association Representation
Details of each club or association’s representation at the 2020 AGM will be circulated nearer the time.
5. Written Reports and Questions
Scottish Cycling will publish our Annual Report no later than 7 November 2020. Any questions on the Annual Report should reach Scottish Cycling by no later than 20 November 2020 and where possible we will provide written answers to all questions to allow us more time for any debate on the day. Any questions submitted and their answers will be published on the AGM section of our website which can be found here.
