Hi all - hope everyone is keeping well. Given the current pandemic and the resulting restrictions that are currently in place, I believe it’s unlikely that we’ll be in a position to hold our annual dinner dance this year. At this point we’re less than 7 weeks away from the date we’d normally have it, and there are no signs that a gathering of that size would be either permissible or safe by that time. If anyone really disagrees with me on this, please get in touch and I’d be happy to discuss it further, but as things stand I don’t think we’ll be in a position to go ahead in 2020. Best regards. Paul McLafferty.

Agreed guys. Nobody is sure if or when we’ll get hit with another wave, but science tells us that Johnny COVID is partial to the low temperatures, so best start managing peoples expectations now. A sweaty ceilidh would make the virus think it had died and gone to Govan. Let’s not tempt fate. Be safe. Be determined, and it won’t be long before McLuskie is washing his wallies in my pint again.
