Virtual Club Night

Hello all - I hope everyone is safe and well. I’m planning to set up a virtual club night via Skype next Thursday night (8th Oct) from 20:00 to 21:00. I was going to set up a quiz as well just for a bit of a laugh, but I’m afraid you’ll have to burn your own sausage rolls and stew your own tea. @Iain Clark hi Iain, I've checked and Paul is a member of the forum. There are quite a few Ivy pages and groups around, and whilst I'm more than happy for anyone to copy/paste to those, I want to use this space as our official forum and best source of info. That way, everyone comments on the same space and we're not covering old ground in various locations.

Hi all - looking forward to speaking to you on tomorrow night's virtual club night.

We'll be doing this using Skype, which you can either download as an app onto your smart phone or tablet, or if you have a windows PC with a webcam, you can go to Skype.com.

The meeting reference is https://join.skype.com/mFJliS951cl8 making note of the fact that it's case sensitive.

I'm planning on doing a quiz as well, probably kicking off about 08:10pm, which will consist of 6 rounds, each round consisting of 5 questions.

The the topics for the rounds will be:

- The Ivy

- Scottish Cycling

- British Cycling

- Le Tour

- Scottish Geography

- General knowledge

Could I ask if you have any questions on how to join the meeting, please get in touch at some point tomorrow before the call (07793 970 112), even through the day is fine. I can't be doing quiz master and technical support at the same time, as I find it difficult to switch quickly between Scottish and Indian accents.
